Reference Finder is an origami software by Robert Lang that allows you to find a specific point on a square sheet of paper.
It is very helpful when doing a CP which has obscure reference points (like the White-Tailed Deer).

Here is the page about it.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Thanks, but why would you need to find a specific reference point?

Elboberto, not all reference points fall on easily found places on the paper, as evidenced in the White-Tailed Deer. Some reference point, inclding the ones in the aforementioned model, are so specific, that they fall under 4 decimal places (ex 0.2423), and each point is very likely to have a different value on the Y axis, then it has on the X axis, and vice-versa.
And so, we have to measure out where the points are on the paper, punch them into Reference Finder, and figure out how to get them onto the paper by folding alone.

on the leg flaps when the base is made, there is the point in the middle of them
because they are slanted, should those be on the bottom or top?
