Nice fold. I should try the CP sometime, doesn't look to hard.

I came up with a sequence for folding the traditional crane using an entirely pureland method. Then I went crazy with the shaping to make this swan. :P

Will you be diagramming the method you discovered?

Noah, maybe. I have other diagrams I'm more interested in finishing. And since I sketched some diagrams for this, I don't have to worry about forgetting the folding sequence. It is around 35 steps, so it's not like it's just a few hours' work.

Slater, pureland basically means you only use single straight mountain or valley folds. No reverse folds, swivels, squashes, petals, etc. … Well, actually those can all be accomplished with a bit of ingenuity, as this crane sequence will show. So far I've found sinks to be extremely difficult, but even certain open sinks are possible.

Bandersnatch, I love the book. It's really well put together and has beautiful photographs in the beginning. I've actually learned a bit from it already, which is impressive considering all I can read are the section titles and the little boxes that say "Key Point!" (but not the points themselves). 64 pages of not diagrams, 64 pages of diagrams.

That's awesome, Jared...my next question was going to be about your Japanese language skills :) But nevermind
