i need help folding the cp for this tanuki.
could someone please give me the reference points and if possible the mountain/valley folds on the cp.

Why don't you ask the designer for reference points?

because this is an origami board with a "Diagrams & Crease Patterns" Section, that is supposed to be used for these kind of questions

Noah, finding references is part of solving a CP.
Josh, why not post the references? It might help out the next person looking…

Joshua, just try to use the outermost Creases as mountain folds and then alternate the Crease direction going inwards. That works for most CPs. You may have to figure out one or two Creases but the remaining ones should be clear on their own.

Ah, but that formula is not in general good enough for designs that heavily feature color-changes.
Josh, have a good photo of the finished piece in front of you when you try to fold it. Try to make the flap arrangement on your fold look like the photos.

yeah, i have a pic of kamiya's fold in front of me.
i just can't get the flaps to look right, and i really want to fold this
