I find Lang's model really, really hard to fold, the other lobster models are not nearly as hard. And it's not the precreasing, it's not the sink folds it is all those steps freeing up trapped paper with such a strange not-perfect like base.

Now my lobster has got a big brother

My fascination for origami comes from creating beautiful thing out of almost nothing. I only use gift wrapping paper free available in malls, since I think Origami should be a free art when it comes to folding material.

The Maine Lobster of Robert Lang is superior compared to other lobster that I have fold:
Manuel Sirgo: small claws and tail, and the legs get only stumps if you don't use an extremely large or thin paper.

Montroll's first lobster: easy to fold but legs connected and fake claws

Montroll's second lobster: easy to fold but legs still connected and small claws and tail

Stephan Ansons lobster (crawfish): very easy to fold but not so good looking at all

I need help!! Can anyone suggest to me some cool tessellations? I have a math project coming up and a folded tessellation would fit the purpose! Any one have any links to free tessellations? or have cool one that they'd like to share?! I don't usually fold tessellations...
