i have searched the web for a while and i just cant find who or even how this is made. i had found this picture in the back of tanteidan magazine 82. Please help and thanks in advance
Ill make note of the placement of topics next time and thanks.
im still not getting how to place the arms and legs from the Pegasus you mentioned from the 8th convention book compared to the picture i posted. :/ from the one i had up the legs were directly under the arms and the tail part is not even touched but on the pegasus, it is. Im kinda confused here.
After making a pegasus, the photo does look right with regard to the placement of the limbs.
It looks like the legs and arms are just positioned differently, and the tail can be folded to make it look like that.
However, the legs seem to be much longer, and I assume that the arms are, too, so perhaps it's a slightly modified version. I can't imagine the entire model being completely different, so it's likely to be a modification, or just different shaping done by Sasade Shinji.
It's also possible that the diagrams are for a simplified version, which sometimes happens.
Of course, it could actually be a completely different version, in which case, I think the pegasus is the closest you're going to get.
If you haven't done so, I would recommend folding the pegasus with a large sheet of paper, and then playing around with it, to try to match the shaping in the photo.
But, as I said, the legs seem much longer in the photo, and I'm not sure how to do that, while keeping the rest of the model the same.
It seems to be a different version
I have found this http://gigazine.jp/img/2010/01/12/origami/origami.jpg
although I suppose it is just a variation of the original theme of four legged cranes so maybe if you play around with the dimensions a little bit after folding the original one in the tanteidan book you could get something better.
