Interesting must fold lists... mine would have to be
Andrey Ermakov's Kitten
Darrel Tan's Wolf 2.0
Joe Slote's Mouse (my favorite model from the book so far)
Yuri Sarudiansky's Two Swans
I would probably have added Niklas Kiuru's Little Angel to that list, but I already folded that from the CP that was released here a while ago. This isn't to say other models in the book are not good, but those models made me want to fold them right away.
Please, add me on flickr and tell me what you think!

Paulius Mielinis's Praying Mantis is amazing! When I say amazing I mean great. It's quite simple and quick to fold too. My first fold from the book.

Congratulations to everybody, especially Anna, on another excellent Christmas book. I have yet to fold anything from it but there is some really great stuff in this year's volume. Great job!

So, the answer to the next question is: Start designing and diagramming some models, so that you'll have something to submit next year.

If you can't design, look at what other people have done, and just experiment.

If you are really lost, then download some of the diagramming software and learn to be an expert with the tools, so that diagramming is "fun" or at least easy for you. Then, as October/November approaches, volunteer to collaborate with a designer, to create diagrams for them. We need people are are very good at creating clean, easy to follow diagrams.

Finally, if you are persistent and you submit six (?) diagrams in 2011, then you may have all 6 previous collections....

This is assuming that Anna continues to be generous with her time.
