Origami Sequence

Post by Imtiaz »

just got my copy of Origami Sequence...looks awesome.
A lot of the models are suggested to be wet folded from 40-60gsm paper.
What kind of easily available paper in large enough size could be used.
Even photocopy paper is 80gsm ..so 40-60 would be even a lot thinner.
would it be possible to wet fold easily using such light/thin paper?

Hi Imtiaz
I am glad you like the book.
Generally, if you pre-treat the paper with methylcellulose, dry-folding will work as well.
Feel free to visit my flickr album (link in my signature), all the models are on there, and you can either see the type of paper I used, or ask a question there and I can answer as per specific model.

Greetings
Good luck in the cricket!

Thanks Quentin

Is the grizzly and salmon bear the same grizzly as in your book Origami Sequence?
