never really liked tesselations but I figured i should give one a try ayway, so here ya go..

I have folded Hideo Komatsu's Tiger. It is a wonderful model! I really like how it turned out.

I used 40cm by 40cm tissue foil. It can be purchased at origami-shop.com.

Umm, what is the difference of a hexagon and a trihexaflexagon. Because to me, it just looks like a hexagon. Is there some 3-d that I am missing?

I think it means that the 3 models that you see there is basically one and the same model. This means by flipping/folding/flexed over the paper you get the different patterns.

Tiger by Issei Yoshino.
I really enjoy the folding sequence. It's really creative and unexpected the way all the parts come out. And the head is made from the dead center of the paper!
I also like that this model (and everything else in Super Complex Origami) looks great with standard, dry paper. Yoshino was a true artist.
