I agree!

The sparrow/gorion of Roman Diaz has a lot more soul and life than the little bird, even if the latter has more detail and complexity.

Step 33 is just pleat sinking. You sink in and out along those lines.
Step 42 you have to open up the pleats a little and then recollapse along the indicated mountain and valley lines. When it is recollapsed it is kind of like an open sink. The arrows show which way the paper is folded.

Step 93 is a valley fold, and when u fold it over you are squashing the open sink that was made in step 92. Then folding it back over.

valen, dont worry so much about the valley fold it shows. Just grab that near flap and pull it over to the right. In doing so, it will stretch out a layer that is under that flap, forming the shapes you see in the next step.

Steps 94-95

Postby Justinian336 » October 24th, 2010, 4:17 am

Hi everyone, I think I got stuck on steps 93-94, I can't understand the logic, it looks as if you end up in the same place after those steps (see step 95 and compare it with step 93 and you'll understand). I tried to do step 95 without doing 93-93 and the piece which I'm supposed to fold is just too small, so I'm affraid of ripping the paper off, could someone enlighten me in this part? I'm very anxious because I'm finally about to finish it!!!

Thanks

Justinian, if you look carefully at step 95, you will see that in the area I have pointed to is actually two layers, whereas the same area in 93 is only one thick layer. Steps 93 to 95 concentrate on splitting that top section through use of a spread-squash. In 93 you are pulling apart the layers on VAGUELY the valley line shown in step 93...you actually wont be able to form that line precisely until you have completed the spread-squash shown in step 94. Once you have spread-squashed, you close it back up, and you have the top flap split into two.

Hellou, can somebody help me with the steps 124-127. Mostly i don't get the step 124 because the opened wing looks quite different from what i got, although i have done every step correctly. I know that it is a simple valley fold but i dont know from where to where.

Thank u for helping me out on this one.
