New Ogami paper...some 100% abaca and abaca/hemp, abaca/flax blends. They got a really nice, rich red this time around.

Apparently the production is pretty much done (you may remember that they had to reformulate the paper) but they are waiting on Robert Lang (who is the sole tester for the new batch) to finish his tests and give final approval.

Tant is wonderful for folding not too complex models and tesselations. I'm sure you'll find good use of it.Orca wrote:Right now im waiting for my deilvery form origami shop. I ordered 20 sheets of tissue foil and 20 sheets of tant. any body know if tant is good or not?

In case anyone is looking to play with lokta paper, it's on sale at Jerry's Artarama (no, that isn't me!). It's a tad on the thick side, and it doesn't soak up MC as well as unryu (some fibers work free on complex models), but it behaves pretty well for models that don't have super-thin appendages. And the colors are quite nice -- some of the pieces are basically the same color on both sides, but others are tinted differently on each side.
