just search for methylcellulose. there are probably about a jillion links to places where you can buy it in past threads.

Wallpaper glue might not be MC, or they could be MC with fungicide (which I don't want to use). I have not been able to find MC in hardware stores, only CMC at extortionist's cost (in fact I've found food grade CMC at a cheaper price than at the hardwares!)
