I have figured out how to make the 8 point shuriken
The impossible 8 popint shuriken that is found here:
http://www.ninja-weapons.com/rangedweap ... iken.shtml
or the "saw like shuriken" has a step that is not mentioned.
Each of the 8 parallelograms you make have 2 sides. One side has 2 points, the other has 1 point. You put the 1 point side of one paralelogram in between the 2 point side of another piece. After connecting all the pieces, you should have a doughnut shape, but it is spikey. You must fold the spikes inward, so that they surround the 1 pointed side. Do this with all the spikes. Now, you should have the doughnut shaped figure shown in the instructions. It should be alot easier now.
NOTE: the shuriken isnt that good. it can't fly well, curves a lot, and almost always breaks on impact.
OTHER NOTE: I'm sorry if this is complicated, or not clear enough. I'll try to insert some pictures later.

ad 1) No, since it is copyrighted material. You will have to get the book from here: http://www.origamihouse.jp/book/origina ... syu_9.html
Hint: Go for it while it is still available, you won't regret getting that book
ad 2) It's always a question of what kind of paper you are using and how you throw it.

No, sorry, as that book is available I can't show you how to fold it, but I can give a hint, that it starts from a pinwheel like this one:

Also, four people came up with this, so it's relatively straightforward.
