Thank you, it is the greatest compliment I can receive, I strive to achieve beauty on the models I fold.

But I must say that I cheated to capture the stance, the angle of the body and the weight of the head did not allowed the model to stand; it fell on it's head; so I placed a coin in one of the pockets that form on the back of the model to achieve balance, it's not paper so I cheated.
Whatever

Devil of Jun Maekawa diagrammed by Hugo Pereira.
( A cross post with the thread in diagrams,
"Help for the Devil of Jun Maekawa diagrammed by Hugo Pereira")

Image

I have used all of the upper front flaps to create in order, forhead, eyes, nose, tongue, lower jaw/beard.
The images in Viva Origami hint at this detail and Hugo's diagrams give some not very clear instructions for it.
The paper gets too thick to add any detail to the wings.
Dry Folded/moulded from a 30cm square of 100gsm copy paper.
(personally I think the attempts in tissue foil while folded well lack any life)

My second attempt at Satoshi Kamiya's Ancient Dragon.

I folded this using a fancy gift wrapper I picked up from a fancy giftwrap store. The paper looked really nice, but it was a PITA to fold. :x

It took me around 5 hours to fold, spanning two evenings (with FREE EYEBAGS!)

I'll try to clean up the open folds and maybe sharpen the horns and claws over the weekend.

I received Origami Fantasy and Origami Tanteidan 11th convention from Origamihouse this week. I folded the Protoceratops by Fumiaki Kawahata.

And Robert J. Lang's Locust.

Well..the paper has a weird pearlescent finish. Unfortunately, the camera wasn't really able to capture the details. Hehehe..
Ahh..heck. I just said it was fancy because I bought the paper from a fancy gift shop. :D

Well, you can't tell that I'm going on vacation

7 pieces of colored paper, 7 pieces of white paper, 6 colored stips for modules and 2 white strips (6-1) for Eastern Dragons= 22 pieces of paper!

(I just made 21 more pieces of paper, so... I'm up to 53 :D )

I use paper, isn't dough
This kind of paper is a wrapping paper of Vodka Hanoi- bottle of wine( can be found in Vietnam). It is thinner than others.
They looks like that in lamplight after I used glue to fix them.
