HOW THE CRAP do you apply MC????

1. Find methyl cellulose
2. Put one sheet of tissue paper on glass surface (polished wood works too, but not as well)
3. Apply MC with paint brush, until the paper is soaked with it.
4. Put the second sheet on the first *BE CAREFUL*
5. apply another coat of MC
6. Let sit overnight
7. PROFIT. I mean, peel it off the table in the morning :)

Yes indeed. I seem to remember Natan having success doing this (folding from an unsized sheet, then sizing it afterward). If you are folding from an already sized sheet, you can definitely do it. It is essentially wet-folding, but with MC-a lot of people do this for complex, wet-folded stuff.

Redhead - would you mind asking your parents where they got the MC please? I would be interested to know -hopefully somewhere cheaper than where I got it!

It's sold as wallpaper glue...some hardware stores still carry it...mostly smaller ones though

Heh, I will ask them, but is wallpaper glue necessarily the same as MC?
