I know, I know, Daydreamer. I've been told that all too often, but I only have so much colored paper online and I really don't feel like ordering it online.

Very nice folds, halogen :D

Well, I folded a star like thing out of Pokemon cards. I have no idea how I came up with this. I just picked up one of my Pokemon cards and started to fold it. Heres a picture of it.

I hope you liked it. I'll make a diagram if you want.

Can't they all be pushed in together, and make it tighter?

I hope you didn't use really rare pokemon cards...
Still I think it's somewhat of a waste of perfectly good pokemon cards. :(

I picked up some craft paper to try, but I think the type I got was a bit too thick:

One good thing about it being so thick was producing larger models:

A few things I folded for my wife on Valentines Day:

I try to find new things to fold, so I get alot of ideas from this site and the photos everyone posts. Thanks for the inspiration!

agreed! among the dozends of magic-based cardgames, the pokemon cardgame is one of the better ones. the best one is the simpsons version of course

Folded Satoshi Kamiya's Ancient Dragon yesterday, took about 4 hours. I used a 70cm piece of wrapping paper.

Nice try on the ancient dragon considering it to be a complex model. You might want to shape parts like the claws, tails, and beak more though to make it look more fearsome :P I think it would look nicer with red paper like Kamiya used.

Thanks earth, I am considering trying this fold with unryu paper like brian chan did. Also, because I used wrapping paper, it doesn't hold the shaping well (maybe if I used foiled wrapping paper). Oh well, this was my first successful attempt at this fold ^_^

Sometimes when folding a box pleated CP you get some really nice intermediate stages.

So long and keep folding ^_^
