The Golden Retriever looks a lot like his Smilodon. Are the CP's similar?
And Bahamut's pectorals are a little higher and larger aren't they? But I had the same problems taking photos of it, but I thnk it's best if the shot is taken from the front to the side with the tail. So pretty much everything is featured except for one wing...
Well, both the Smilodon and Golden Retriever are closed-back in Satoshi Kamiya's style that he describes on the Smilodon page in his book, and not uniaxial. But the Golden Retriever uses book symmetry instead of diagonal. The hind legs are from the corners of the square (So they are way too flimsy).
Yeah, I'm not sure what happened to Bahamut's pecs. They're a little low, but they couldn't really be any higher for some reason.
Nice folds origamimasterjared, especially Sleipnir. How complex is it (because yours looks like you didn't struggle much)?
Thanks. Well, it's 167 steps. But it has a such a clean and wonderful folding sequence, without a doubt one of Kamiya's best. It's not overly difficult, and all the folds make perfect sense. Also, the body comes out completely seamless, which was quite impressive. What I love is that if you were to cut off the inside four feet, you would still have one of the best-looking horses in origami.
