@ Rdrutel that is a really cool concept! the only suggestion I have is to try to puff out the bodies of the frog to give them a little more volume. I don't know how easy it would be to do it......

@ JeossMayhem Very nice! The turtle looks good, but you should definitely wet fold it! It would add even more to the model. That reminds me, i really have to get around to folding the puffer fish.....

If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

Yeah...I was thinking the same. There is quite a bit of stress around the frogs. If I added more paper to them, this would solve the problem and allow more flexibility around their bodies. Thanks!

I've just folded Hsi Hua Liu's rabbit from CP I saw at Origami Weekly. And I made a little tutorial showing how I did it.

Geoff, that Hawksbill Turtle is awesome! Well done. Probably one of my favourites so far! I'm certainly glad you quit your job!!!
The shell, the head, the proportions of the legs...everything is awesome about this model!!!
A different colour background would accentuate its features - for your next photograph. And maybe a solid colour green would also show the lines of the shell better, they get lost in the white shadings.

Rod, nice work. Reminds me very much of Dr Bernie Peyton's Frogs on a leaf (from differents papers, of course).
Did you paint the red, or how did you hide it in the rest of the model?
Cool concept.

Thanks Quentin. The paper is red /green and the appendages + eyes are just color changes. The rest of the red is hidden, but there are areas of stress around the stem that cause the model to open up exposing the red, but it is not too bad. The photo angles also help hiding a little ; ).

Hah, thanks Quentin. I thought the paper would look cool but at the end I was rather disappointed. The paper I have prepped for the next one is a dark green unryu with some darker fibers, but still not what I'm looking for. I'm probably gonna end up with four or five different versions until I find a paper/prep combo I'm satisfied with...

Great folds of Nguyen Hung Cuong's water buffalo by both Jared and Victoria.

Are these from a CP? I've not seen this model before

I've searched for the CP everywhere on net but I've found nothing... Is it avaliable in a book or magazine?

Nice bull Victoria!
Is this a tablecloth paper? I saw recently a papercloth of that pattern but didn't dare to buy it.

Thanks a lot to you all!

aces21, origami-brasil.
I've found the link to diagram by google search on some vietnam site.

Vykintas73.
This is really a tablecloth paper. It is rather good for folding, especially for wet-folding. Water buffalo is folded from 40x40 sm square.

OK. I'll give it a try too 'cause it has dimensions large enough for some complex models and the texture and the colours are nice and it's coloured all thickness through.
