I call it "Bunny God" or Usagigami. It's an anthropomorphic bunny with four arms, wings, and a fox tail.

Folded from a 10 inch square of origami paper...just a little springy for that second set of arms.

Click on the picture to read more and see a bunch more photos. I also have the CP at my Flickr.

Amazing Clown, Artur, well done!

I folded the next two models from Origami Essence by Román Díaz :)

Wren from an 18cm square of Duo-Colour-Kami

Salmon from an 18cm square of Duo-Colour-Kami

This model has a very fun and unique folding sequence and the bottom of the model is closed.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Lion by Nicolas Terry folded from a 30cm square of the stuff that Nicolas sells as "Tissue Foil". While this paper is definitely no tissue foil in the sense of a "tissue paper - foil - tissue paper" sandwich glued together with either spray adhesive or white glue it definitely has interesting folding properties. While being a little bit thicker than double MC (my guess would be around 60 or 70 gsm) it folds really nice. The paper is crisp and holds Creases very well, reversing Creases is very easy. The final shaping wasn't a problem either, it shapes amazingly good even through many layers. What I especially like is the beautiful colour of the foil side of the paper. This foil side is no foil like as in aluminium foil but rather liked vaporized onto the paper. The paper itself is a little bit translucent, I can see my fingers through it. The paper side feels a bit rough while the metal side has a waxy feeling to it, absolutely unlike foil. The paper made no attempt to rip when many layers at once where folded in half. The downsides are that some small inclusions can be spotted and the sheet I used had a small rip on one of the corners, on the other hand it was perfectly square. I really like the paper and can absolutely recommend it to you, but yet again, it is no tissue foil.

I finally finished my Ryu-Zin 3,5! It is not as good as I would have hoped, but I am happy with my first attempt :). I will certainly try again later, out of paper that is much thinner than TF... The legs look very stubby in the photos, but they aren't in real life. I re-positioned it, so that it looks much better, but have not taken picture of the re-shaped model.

Sorry, but you'll have to go to my flickr to view the large size photos - they don't seem to want to upload :(.

5th model from the amazing Origami Essence, which as you might have guessed I'm enjoying very much :-)

For this model I took a 15cm square of white Tant paper. Spread some MC unto it, rolled a small sheet of black tissue over it and smoothed out the crinkles with a paper towel. Then I cut away the access tissue right away and started folding while it was still damp. I have to say that I'm really surprised by the folding qualities of this paper. I'm not really a huge fan of Tant paper, but combined with MC and tissue paper it folds really great, and (as weird as it might sound) feels thinner than Tant paper alone.

The model itself is far more interesting than it might look on photos. It gets nicely 3D in the end but is very hard to capture nicely in a picture...

Gerwin, your folds of Roman's models look great and it sounds like the folding sequences are as fun as usual.

Do you think you could stop posting pictures until Christmas as I don't get my copy of the book until then and I'm hugely jealous

Lang's Samurai Helmet Beetle, for Insects and their Kin. First fold through, out of a single sheet of MC Unryu. I found that the end shaping was difficult as the paper was too thin to really wet shape the way I like...maybe double-unryu next time.

@aces21: I'm very sorry, but the models in this book are far too nice to keep them from the public. Also seeing the pictures you have something to really look forward to for Christmas :)
And don't forget the booklet of free diagrams to spend your time with

That being said here's the Kingfisher by Román Díaz.

For this model I took a 15cm square of blue Tant paper and glued two sheets of white tissue unto it with MC. Two sheets, because otherwise the blue would have shined through too much. While a bit thick it was okay for this model and was nicely shapeable in the end.

I think the Tant-MC-Tissue combination is starting to become my favourite paper (for now) :-)

@Daydreamer

Did you find that the tissue peeled away from the TANT at the edges? I seem to recall that happening for me...but I'm wondering if it was just a result of using crappy wheat paste rather than the good MC.

I haven't had that problem. The bigger problem for me is that the paper doesn't stay square in the process so you lose a bit of the original size when cutting it square again.
