How Would I Create something that I have seen. Whats the Basic starting process of thinking how to make it into a foldable model using any Techniques in Origami.
Any Information and Help will be Greatly Appreciated.
It's not like a "snap" and an amazingly realistic origami model will appear. Designing takes time, practice, and knowledge. I recommend folding cps and when you do that, you get an idea of how the author designed it. If you fold lots of cps, you will get alot of different ideas of how the authors designed.
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....
I agree with Benlewis.. I personally started with cp's, then started doing small modifications on other models, then starting my own. I still use molecules and such that other people have used before.
I think first you have to decide weather to use box pleating or 22.5/circle packing... eg: if your subject of choice is a horse, you would be pretty stupid to try and make one using box pleating. Then work out how what size flaps and how many flaps you need to make your model. Then work out roughly where abouts the points will fit on your page. After that comes the hard part were you actually have to join the flaps/points together in the best/efficient way. To learn how to do that do what the guys above me have said.
