Great tutorial! I just folded this model last week actually. great folding sequence and a fun, easy model!
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....

It works with almost any paper, but I'd recommend thin crisp papers. One of the most beautiful renditions I made was with black-gold Deluxe Washi with black for the body. But usual Kami works just as well. Another combination I really liked was with blue VOG-Crumpled paper for the body glued onto black tissue paper for the eyes. Duo-coloured Kraft paper also looked really great. The purple-silver one I show at some points in the video is some kind of stiffer Foilpaper that looks just gorgeous.
