I'm in the midst of rushing out a gift that is made completely using origami stars. What I'm intending to do is that I'm forming the person's name using the origami stars, mosaic style, but on second thoughts now that I've folded a couple of hundreds of stars, that might not be the most feasible idea. What do you guys think? It will be pasted on a huge board, forming a single layer of origami stars. Another issue is that because all my stars are of multi coloured paper (I have equal number of some colours), I'm not too sure how to go about it too. Help! (
That's a great idea! I'm sure the finished work will look cool. If you have an equal number of stars of each color you should arrange them so that the two colors are alternating. Another thing you can do is fold his/her name from Jo Nakashima's Alphabet, but after already making a couple hundred stars I would stick to the first idea.
Thanks GrossMichael! (: But I do have a worry on how to stick it and the fact that it might actually turn it rather big even if it's a single layer hmm. Wow that origami alphabet sure is magnificent but I don't think I've got the fingers for that haha!
