Robert J. Lang butterfly

Hi, I'm trying to fold Lang's butterfly of the "Origami Insects and their kin". But I'm stuck in the step 45 up to the 48. I do the rabbit ear, but in the next step I can't pull the layer he says, and when I thought I have done this, I couldn't figure out the next step!
