YouTube + Dollar Bill Origami = "My Funny Money"

Post by My Funny Money »

Hey guys,

I've been looking for an "origami" forum and this place is great! I just finished making my origami video and I'm looking for all the feedback that I can get. It's only a minute long & I know you guys will get a kick out of it. Thanks!

since this is just a kind of advertising entry for you to sell more of your instructions (at least I think it is), we (the moderators) need to discuss if that's the right place to do that.
anyways welcome to the forum.

I can´t help, but this star looks exactly like Fred Rohm´s to me. In this case selling copies of diagrams for it would be forbidden without the authors permission.
Could anyone please verify this?

Hey guys, sorry if I'm breaking any rules here or giving that "spamming" feel. That is not the case with me. I would simply just like people who enjoy origami to see this video if they want to. Buying the instructions is only for people that want to spend the money to do that. It is Fred Rohm's star of david, but I've made my own instructions based on that .

Making money with selling diagrams for other peoples models isn´t ok.
The video is funny and since the diagrams are free available on the net (at least written instructions and an improvised CP), I think it isn´t any bad to leave it online. As for the diagrams, you should really forbear from selling copies, you won´t make any friends in the Origamiworld with selling copyrighted material.

Welcome on board!

Hey guys,

Sounds good to me. I wasn't trying to be misleading with my posts and try to make a "quick buck" from you guys. So...after I do a few revisions on the eBook I created, I'll offer it on this website for free. How does that sound? I'll just leave my video up on YouTube if you want to watch it, but as far as the instructions are concerned, I'm not trying to sell them to you guys. I will post a link to download this eBook as long as the moderators on this forum agree. Will this work?
