I was browsing through Brian Chan's homepage a few months ago and found these diagrams.
Those are the exact same diagrams as published in Tanteidan 12. I thought they were copyrighted though, as he doesn't list them on his page with diagrams, although I could be wrong.Masuma wrote:I was browsing through Brian Chan's homepage a few months ago and found these diagrams.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've been looking for these diagrams for months! well I new that they were in the one tanteiden book, but I didn't want to spend $40.00 on just one model, so I've been trying to find them on the internet but i couldn't find them but then mr. Masuma came along and made my day, Masuma if your reading this thank you, if you were right in front of me, I'd give you a big hug! but not in a gay way, if you were a guy, because I'm not gay.

That was not for public use
Sorry those diagrams were not for public use. I only uploaded them there so that I could give them to the publishers in Japan.
If you have them now you can keep them, but I ask that you please not copy, distribute or forward them.
I try not to post diagrams that are also published, or to be published in an official publication. Doing so would force me to break a promise I made to the publishers. Besides this, I have and will sometimes post diagrams online for free. Other than that, more diagrams do not exist.

Re: Brian Chan one sheet rose
one would guess that the diagrams for the one sheet rose show up in his book.

Re: Brian Chan one sheet rose
Perhaps this is not the right place to ask this, but does anybody have advice for getting one's hands on out-of-print Tanteidan Convention books? Do any origami association libraries lend them out? I've wanted to fold this model for a long time. Thanks!
Re: Brian Chan one sheet rose
nope. you can try e-bay. you could also consider buying issei yosshino's super complex origami ebook edition. i suspect gallery origami house is using it to "test the waters," so to speak, and may release other out of print books if it is successful. you could also try messaging him. the worst he could say is no.

Thanks for the reply! I'll look into what you suggested.
And that ebook looks worth buying all on its own. =)

I've gotten a hold of it, so I can confirm that it's well worth it.
