Robert Lang Lion Help (Origami Zoo)

Post by The Half Boy »

If anybody could help me with Robert Lang's Lion, from the book Origami Zoo, I'd be very grateful.

I'm stuck on step 5, open sinking the top and bottom corners. It seems totally different to the open sink that's shown in the procedures.

Thanks in advance for any help!

:D

Hey there.

First precrease where your sink is going to be:

Then open up the model and perform your sink using your precreases. I've drawn out the directions your creases should be going in.

If it's still not working for you then you might have made a mistake in step two.

That was really helpful! Thank you! :)

I can't work out the next step either, though, so I think this Lion may defeat me.

Unfortunately, I think I'm just too much of a novice for this book. It's my first proper attempt at something that isn't out of a children's book, which was all I could previously find, and most of it completely stumps me. There's just not enough detail in the diagrams for me to work out what's happening, and the descriptions are poor. I bow my head in defeat.
