Satoshi Kamiya - Ancient Dragon

Hello everyone,

I need help with steps 80 to 85 of the ancient Dragon (flapping to the left). I've tried this step very many times but don't know how to fold it....
I have the diagram for it but couldn't fold it. Perhaps anyone could hep me with instructions, a short film or pictures?

I haven't folded this model yet, but the following photo might show the right way to collapse the folds in steps 83 to 86:

Yes, that's pretty much it. I've not finished this model yet, mainly because my copy of the book disappeared after our local origami group's meeting this past Saturday.

yes yu thes photo just 84 (sunk). But, I canot #83 flaps not revese, loks.
mayb #-82? early step uncear
(it is not sense #83, revese loks fold bad!? Top flap 84 canot sunk)

I was wondering what paper size should I use for this dragon? I tried a 25cmx25cm but got too thick and small :-/ so it became unworkable. Thanks

The book recommends using paper of atleast 50x50 cm.
I used 50x50 cm kraft paper which wasn't very thin, and found it too thick to work with in the end. So I'd suggest you find some bigger stuff. Maybe you can find a big roll of giftwrap paper (those are usually about 70 cm wide), and as thin as possible ofcourse.

He's been doing this on the Origami List for a long time. At first, people tried to understand him and to answer his questions. Some people got annoyed. Now most people just ignore him. Isn't it easier to assume mental incompetence than to get angry?
