Satoshi Kamiya - Deinonychus (CP)

Post by Zoraz »

Does anybody know what the reference point for the head is on this model (the small half bird base in the top corner)? I tried 1/5 up the side, but the head turned out tiny in comparison to the body. Here is a link to the CP:

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll fold it again and post pics. It seems like Kamiya uses that reference point fairly often...

Here is my (very rough) atempt. I dont know how to get the head right and there seems to be one too many toes.

Deinonychus's name means "terrible claw." It is known for its large sickle shaped toe on its feet. Thats what the last large toe flap is for.

Heres a picture of one.

Well, Deynoninchus isn't suposed to have four toes, but that claw looks really cool.

Remember the "Velociraptors" in the movie Jurassic Park? Those were really Deinonychuses.

The CP produces four flaps for the foot. The longest one makes the big toe with the claw. The next two make the toes on the ground. The fourth is reverse-folded up into the leg, to make the claw at the heel, see:

I do not open other secrets, and moreover, I am absolutely sure that Mr Satoshi fold this model to another way, this is just my own humble opinion on this cp.
