hello im having trouble with this scorpion (step 102,103 from insects and their kin)! im folding the layer to the left, i push the bottom but dont get the same result there!

thanks cris! i've gone through that step, now im having some problems in 112, when i inside reverse fold that corner apears a fold that is not visible in the diagrams (ill post some pictures when i can) and also dont understand 114, i can figure its a crimp but dont know how

I really love that scorpion and have folded it a lot of times now. still like it :)

now cant do 114 :( ill need just more time to make it... i dont like the diagrams of mr lang, they are not clear at all!

hmm... could you show us a picture BEFORE doing step 112 from the whole central area?

this is before doing 112 as you asked, and i'm showing how i do step 112... red goes por mountain and blue for valley. the black triangle is formed by two layers... also you can se the marks of the next step 113... hope im going fine. The arrow only show's the way im pulling and not where the corner ends

yes, that's how i have done em... i haven't continued the line under the top flap... so, the line should be there?

I'm kinda stuck on this model too, step 31 is annoying, i always end up wrinkling or ripping the paper trying to get the waterbomb base. Is there an easy way to do this?

Both scorpions look awesome I am going to try teh model soon using this post and the book and sara adams video, all three should see me through thank you

nope
try using bigger paper, that may do the job.

that step didnt went to hard for me, maybe you should take a look at sara's video, she explains it really good, just precrease the mountains and valleys before trying to colapse
