I'm just wondering whether the thick lines on the CP were valley folds or mountain folds

No, it doesn't matter at all. Whatever works best for you.
If you're folding it so the lines appear on the outside of the design (which might be a good idea for a first runt through it), you should treat the thick lines as valleys and skinny lines as mountains.

The abdomen is in the middle, the rest of the points are shown here.Washi wrote:Let's see... Can you show me the CP and show which parts (head, abdomen, thorax, legs, wings) are which on the CP? And what size paper should we use?
I'm actually not sure where the thorax comes from, but if you put it in the bottom corner, the wings will be on top of the legs at the end. The head flap will need to be swung under the abdomen.
Use a 50cm square.
