Methyl Cellulose in the uk

Post by Jason_Gaffney »

for some reason the original topic i posted has gone missing... anywho, wallpaper paste is generally starch based now. if you want pure mc in the uk, its eaier to get "eco friendly" wallpaper paste, which, generally, is 100% MC.

so anyway:

gotta love these eco warriors!

i'll post the results when it arrives. i'll be using it with the florists tissue paper i bought.

Yeah, I live in the UK too, and I get my MC from Poundland :P. They sell bags of wallpaper paste (metyhl cellulose based) that make 11 litres, for £1 of course :D

i'll have to try this against the pure stuff, see what's different. Come to think about it, i dont think our branch stocked it. we have 3 pound shops in hartlepool within metres of eachother, and none of the are good for anything like this. im regularly seen exiting the store having bought absolutely nothing about 3 times a week.
