Monthly Folding Challenge - January 2010

Post by Sunburst »

The topic for this month's challenge is... Twins! Basically, you can make anything you want, as long as there are 2 of them. Here are some examples of models that would work for this challenge :

Snack Time by Robert Lang

Comedy & Tragedy II by Quentin Trollip, a perfect example of what this contest is all about

Here are the rules for this contest :
1) Whatever you decide to make, there has to be 2 of them with the same sheet.
2) The twins don't have to be identical. They can differ to a certain extent (pose, details, color-changes) as long as both are recognizable.
3) No cuts nor glue allowed as it would make this challenge a joke.
4) As much as I would like to allow rectangles, only squares are allowed.

Anermak will be the judge for this challenge.

Get ready, set, fold!

Excellent topic. My resolution for this year is to enter each one of these contests to kickstart my designing and improve my folding.

I'm excited to begin with a challenge.

Seriously guys, it's harder than it looks. Getting that colour change took several minutes of thinking, and from a 35cm square you only get rocks with a diameter ~3cm
