Paper for lucky stars in Europe?

Post by Anine »

Hi!

Anyone knows a place in Europe where you can buy paperstrips for lucky stars? On ebay I only see strips from Asian countries and USA. Tried with a normal paperstrip, but I think the paperstrips you can buy for lucky stars are more slippery and plasticlike?

Some are, and some are not. Most of the "lucky star paper" you see on ebay and other online stores is simply thin paper. I've made strips out of all kinds of paper...it really doesn't matter, so long as the paper is not too thick.

If you decide to order some, I know that many ebay sellers will ship to Europe. Also, there are two origami supply stores that should ship to Europe as well. They are : http://www.kimscrane.com and http://www.paperjade.com

If you decide to make your own, then here is the average ratio of the strips that I have: 7mm by 150 mm...this means that if you divide a regular piece of packaged origami paper, and divide into 1/20ths, you can get strips the correct size.

Hope this helps!
