Hi, I'm new to the group. I'm 16 years old and I love folding, particularly 3D models (with the hundreds of triangles). I don't have that much experience with more advanced models (that aren't 3D origami), though... such as Robert Lang's.
Right now, I'm trying to fold the Bassist by Robert Lang in his book "The Complete Book of Origami". I hope to give it to my music teacher...if I finish. I've reached step 17, but I'm stuck on step 18. I can't reverse fold that large flap ... can anyone help?

Don't worry, I got this. Ok so you see in step 17 the bottom left corner of the model is the large flap he is talking about.
Hope this helps!

I don't know how to make the outside reverse fold of the large flap ( step 18 ) -- I posted pictures of what I have so far here:

step 18 is like a little complicated. the flap you outside reverse fold has like a lot of folds in it. on the reverse fold line you did in 17, outside reverse fold the flap it shows, and fold the extra flaps under. get it to look like step 19. in step 17, you reverse fold the triangle at bottom, right? along the line they show you. just outside reverse fold in step 18 on that same line, but dont unfold what you did in 17. i just folded this yesterday, and it looked like crap, and i was folding pretty big. SO USE HUGE PAPER! and be as clean as possible, PLEASE..
