Works of Satoshi Kamiya: Paper
Allright, so I will be looking to buy Works of Satoshi Kamiya, but what paper should I buy along with it? I have red tissue foil and will go get some wrapping paper for easier models, I would prefer some cheap-ish paper that is good for Kamiya's models.
Art is about creation. It is about self-expression. It is giving form to something within you.

I used Tant paper for most of the models. Some models like the Wizard require Tissue-foil or something else thats thin and allows final shaping.

Even the ancient/divine dragon? Tant was nice for the smilodon and orca, but I can't imagine it being nice for the dragons.

Re: Works of Satoshi Kamiya: Paper
For most of mine I used large, plain, thin kraft paper/wrapping paper I had at home, with some painted with acrylic. Otherwise I used kami for the simpler ones, like the chocobo.
A tiny place to post my things. Enjoy~

@sroge4: Actually I got a pretty nice result of the "Ancient dragon" from tant paper. However it is not a perfect result (watch my flickr to see it) and I'm not very satisfied with the sesult of Bahamut.

Re: Works of Satoshi Kamiya: Paper
Hello there, I folded pretty much everything in that book, and found that regular 20x20 cm origami paper (similar to kami) is sufficiently good for most of them, bar the dragons, wizard, hercules beetle, unicorns and boar. orca/smilodon/mammuthus are quite complicated but still perfectly manageable. For those more complicated ones i'd suggest a thin fibered paper- 50x50 cm mulberry is good enough even for the ancient dragon. Bahamut and hercules beetle are too 2-dimensional and need a lot of shaping at the end, maybe some kind of foil is the best for those (these aren't my favorite models). Also best paper I yet used for ancient dragon is a 1x1 m square of regular white wrapping paper, you simply need a very large sheet for that model to be able to form all the parts nicely.
