I think i've developed folders block or something o.o
anyone that has had this "folders block" before have any tips on how to get rid of it? because i really need to make some models, and this "folders block" is annoying me :L

Same here.
Actually I have Lang's Longhorn beetle just in front of me, but it's not finished.
I guess it's just laziness (?)

Re: folder's block
Same thing happened to me when I was folding Kamiya's Tenma H7, took me about 2 weeks to finish it. (I could have done it in one day...)

Good to know I'm not the only one. I just finished my Triceratops design the other day, but since then I've had no motivation to fold.

Re: folder's block
last time this happened to me i took a 8 month long break, mostly because i broke my arm and wasn't particularly able to fold anyway.
i may try a one month break or something.

Re: folder's block
I think folders block is mostly just laziness or lack of free time on my part. I have a lot of models I want to fold but never get around to folding.

Re: folder's block

job to pay for school: 1 hour a day on weekdays, 3-8 hours on sunday
church: 3 hours, saturday
homework: 2 hours a day or more

Re: folder's block
I usually get it right about the point it's time to start wetfolding things. I solve this by starting another model of some sort, then just do a little each time to the ones that need finishing. I've always got 3 or 4 models going at the same time.
It's a hobby, so if I don't feel like it I don't, if I get tired I stop, if I don't feel like finishing a model for whatever reason I don't.
The instant it starts to feel like work I stop.

Re: folder's block
i figured out for me, its the paper.
damn cheap as hell tracing paper.
from now on, i'm only using sekishu, origamido, and the various origami shop papers.
