I've never tried it myself, but I have a book that gives a few details on how to color paper. You're right about the sizing. Mix it in a 1:1 ratio with the acrylic (the book even says to use acrylic). You're also going to need "liquid acrylic polymer emulsion". You might want a piece of glass and a ...

There's an interesting technique that I learned from Michael Lafosse during the summer that involves nothing more than the piece of paper and a sharp knife. And no, the knife isn't an x -acto knife or a rotary blade or anything of that sort. It's actually more of a really sharp kitchen knife. The me...

Immortality and long life... I think that those things often get mixed up in stories and can be found together. It's possible that the story was toned down or people that heard it got it exaggerated. I'm sure the origins should be Japanese, though. Yet that's only from what I know (I thought the leg...

Michael Lafosse used a spiral to show the curling of the thumbs of his happy good luck bat. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f44/klfron/DSC02169.jpg The stretched spiral Ondrej put can also depict the action of rolling... It's all a bit odd but I think any symbol that has some sort of curl or twist...

After seeing the emperor and your apparent interest in Final Fantasy, it makes me wonder if you played Final Fantasy XII? The emperor is great and it makes me think of the judges from the twelfth game. I'm sure it'd be something you could do well.

It somehow makes me think of sunfish. Sunfish are rather weird, though, cause they don't look all that much like fish. It's really abstract but I can tell where there's a fish.

There recently was a thread on nine tailed fox designs here.

Before anyone else brings it up, the forum has a search button up top. It's really helpful.

It's unrelated, but the blue font you used bothers my eyes when it's set against the forum's red background...

I wonder if it was requested that the design be removed because the design is in a DVD. Here: http://store.origamido.com/orofvavafema.html

I'd upload them, but is it okay?

All very nicely done. I like your style overall. I like the ninja shadow in particular. You draw well too.

Robert Lang and Michael Lafosse's turtles are both quite nice. Michael's turtle happens to be a quicker fold that doesn't require a load of reference points. Robert Lang's turtle happens to be a pond turtle and includes the individual plates on the shell and claws on each foot. Michael Lafosse's is ...

The pic doesn't work for me. Oh well, I think I'll just try harder. Maybe I'll look for something and carve an icon out of it.

Origami Icon

I've been fiddling a bit with the organization of my computer files and put my folder concerning origami on my desktop. So, I realized that I don't really like the way a folder looks and I wanted to see if anyone has an origami-themed icon that I can use. It'd be nice if it fits in with the windows ...
