have u ever done the normal four-petalled one? because i had trouble with the five petal one too even after doing the four-petalled. I suggest that if you havent done the four then try to crawl before u walk. kawasaki roses are the devil to do the first time round, but get easier. one day i will manage the five-petalled but i think we need a good diagram first cough cough
THIS IS POST 100!!! LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME 100 POSTS YAY!
seeing the six petaled i dont even see the point of folding five. the six looks extraordinary, i hope i can figure it out.
i dont know if this belongs in the thread, but does anyone happen to know a good cp for multiple roses in one sheet? i think im pretty close to figuring it out, but im not quite getting it.
Need some tips on folding Szinger's Five Fold Rose.
I've folded the original Kawasaki rose many times, so it's not like I haven't folded a rose before... but I'm stuck on steps 20 & 21. Are these steps similar to that of the K-Rose when you make the model 3D?
From the looks of other rose diagrams, I think so, but if anyone can confirm this for me, that'll be great.
Yes they are very similar to the steps from the original rose, especially step 20. Step 21 requires alot of practice and experinenting before it can be figured out. There isn't a very good way to explain it, and i will try to devise one, but the best i can do for now, is to tell you to be persistant; just keep trying it.
LOL, I really just want to see some type of diagram for the six petalled one. Iam no good with testing or trying. I end up scrunching all of it up due to all the useless creases i make... Origami is sooo fascinating. *waiting for six petal rose diagrams.
I really would like to do diagrams for this. among other things (like the red winged black bird I designed) but I just haven't had time to learn how to do it. I'll try to get a cp done for this in some sort of reasonable amount of time. I can't make any guarantees, cause university is a bit crazy right now, but it is a goal that I'm working towards.
Don't worry, origami isn't supposed ro be rushed anyway. I can wait for it but there is no need to rush anything if u are busy^^ its nice to know that us origamists like to help each other out so much
