So I went this weekend and set up my origami display at our local library. The library has art work and collections from local artists on display that they rotate periodically. Very fun experience overall. I went and set up on Saturday with my sons and have been working on getting things ready for a few weeks. This will be up for two months, so hopefully a lot of kids get to check it out this summer. If I take a video or two, as was suggested, I'll post those here. Anyway, here they are. Flier is re-post from the other thread, but it seemed relevant. I left these along with some kami on top of the first display. The larger versions are available on my flicker page, if you want to zoom in on some of the details.
Congratulations to your exhibition! Very nice choice of models in an interesting location.
I've folded several of them by myself (though not as nice as yours), many others are on my personal ToDo list.
Hopefully you'll be able to interest many visitors in Origami.
No, no feedback yet. I just set up on Saturday and was camping all weekend for the 4th of July (Independence Day holiday in the US - not sure if non-US people are aware of this or not) so I haven't even talked to anybody at the library about it yet.
The people who were there at the time liked it, and friends who I have showed pics to yet have liked it, but that is about it for the time being. I'll talk to the library director later this week or over the weekend and see what people have been saying.
