I just got back from the PCOC in Vancouver and ALL Eric Joisel's excellent origami was there.
All I can say is "Joisel for president!!!!!!"
And he is even a great, friendly and encouraging guy. Certainly an honour to meet him.

Sounds cool! what i don't get is when ever you see him on video he always seems to be putting himself down..
, i just don't get it LOL. like i was watching a video couple of weeks back and he introduced himself as the "stupid guy from France"?

I think that it is obvious that Eric is a tremendously talented artist.
Just as much as he is talented, he is also very nice, gentle, and humble.
I will never be as talented, but I would be satisfied if I could be as nice and humble as Eric.

It is certainly difficult to gain that kind of origami skill, but it is just as difficult to gain that kind of humility and benevolence too.
