Post by Scottishfee »

Was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get this paper. Have found places online but they are abroad.

Any shops in UK etc?

thanks

In Amsterdam there is a paper store that has lots and lots. I even found a new type that is a bit more papery and less fibery. Washi is even used in large sheets for window drapery. So check out a local specialized paper store

What kind of washi are you looking for? "Washi" is a fairly generic term that covers a wide range of Japanese handmade papers (and there are some machine-made knockoffs, too).
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

Hello Joseph

I am looking for Yuzen Washi paper (well at least i think that is its name). I can order it from america - just wondered if there was anywhere closer I can look first.

Sorry didnt realise that washi didnt just mean one particular paper.

Thanks
Fiona
