I'm doing a doctor bird right now. I've never seen any done before. I even google image searched "origami doctor bird" and got nothing! This is really fun, especially since it's my first design. I've finished the CP, and I've collapsed it, but I'm not really sure what to do now. I think I may unfold a few sinks to make the belly bigger.

Nice one kicker! Looks creepy, those tentacles look like a challenge to design.

I don't believe this has been folded yet. I just designed one though.

uuugh. Nice one, Balto. Pretty simple structure. Can come up with it pretty easily.

That too bad Balto. Your design was pretty good! Glad too see you are keeping this topic alive.

Here is my design of an animal that hasn't been done yet.

Would be a nice color-change model as well.

Generuk is a cool animal too design but is has been done already. Lionel Albertino did one and I think David llangue did a really really good one.

I was wrong. It was (of course who else) Quentin Trollip. Check his flickr or mine and go too favorites.

I try to specialize in folding unfolded animals.... let's see

Hummingbirds:
Booted Racket-Tailed hummingbird (just have to modify m.s.h. base for this one)
Marvelous Spatuletail hummingbird (I've gotten the base done for it, just need better paper)
Collared Inca hummingbird (I've got a vague idea for it)
Frilled Coquette Hummingbird (cp nearly planned)
hummingbirds can be found on wikipedia easily. i might get to all of these eventually, with a complete model, but other people will probably beat me to it.

Other Birds:
fantail birds
bustard/sunbittern
two more birds I'm keeping secret :D

Sagra buqueti beetle
An ant with wings
I don't think there are that many complex models for weevils yet...

...and about 10,000 orchids
