Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
I'm not sure what to think about it...it almost just looks like a crumpled ball. I need a 360 view.

The real animal isn't too attractive, but is apparantly a well-known delicacy in Japan.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
I've folded his Phoenix from the crease pattern, and I've got to say, I would buy this book at full price just for those diagrams alone. Any additional models in the book, already published or not, are just like extra gravy on your potatoes - more of a good thing is better!

Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
i really hope that isnt the entire contents...
Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
A bit expensive for only 16 models Komatsu book has 20 and Kamiyas first 19 (only 3 more but Ancient dragon and bahamut are far more complex than the phoenix) . Hope the phoenix diagrams worth it.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
at least its only $57.
I'm a bit dissapointed with the model selection, they really could have put some more in there. beyond that, though, seriously, only 3 unpublished models? i guess he's saving the rest for tanteidan convention/magazines. i don't own any of the diagrams in that book, so i'm still happy with it, but i can still get them elsewhere.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
78 bucks for registered shipping. For 3 unpublished diagrams. Who is there target audience here? If you're enough of a hardcore folder to spend 80 bucks on a book, are you not hardcore enough to have most of the other Tanteidan publications?

Re: Satoshi Kamiya's New Book
Yea I was expecting at least the Sea Turtle to make it, but I think I'll be getting Bernie's Eco Origami instead this time around. Besides, this means that Brian Chan's book should be next in line right?
