Let's see. I am currently working and/or diagramming the following: a terrarium (plant, rock, snail in container), Rodan and King Ghidorah (by request), a Moai, and a coat rack, yes a coat rack. If any of these has been done before, I would like to know.

Cool,I'd fold any of those.I know that Rodan and King Ghidorah have been made before and maybe the coat rack. I recently made a frankenstein,I'll post a picture in my yahoo photo album soon.

It's funny, my Rodan and King Ghidorah come from the same base. I aleady have a Godzilla from that base, so it might be possible to make some compound models. I guess I could also have them stomping on buildings.

hehe.. that sounds real cool!
you could create a "godzilla szene" where godzilla and king ghidora
are fighting while they are destroying some of the buildings (just like in the movies..) :P

some pictures where great :)

In case you haven't noticed, I am currently folding the beetles, Cetonischema speciosa jousselini, Chelorrhina polyphemus, and Oryctes gnu.
Also, pictures should be up in the next two weeks. I am reworking the website.
P.S. If you have ever seen a Chelorrhina polyphemus, it is incredibly hard to fold. I counted upwards of 40 color-changes.

Continuing with new models, I am now designing a Stargate, from the TV series.
The King Ghidorah and Godzilla fight scene is coming along. Sadly, I don't think it can be made from a square.

Do you know how many pieces of paper it takes?

The newer version shown has 22 pieces from my best guess. I have the diagrams for the older version which has 12 of the triangle and gate units instead of the 9 shown, and 13 for the stand parts.

My model, composed of one piece of paper, is more of a base. For instance, Stargates on different planets have different stands. Also, my Stargate has a larger ramp and the thing you use to dial in.

I recently saw a new, obscure species of snail found in the depths of the Indian Ocean and had to fold it.
Unfortunately, I folded it out of foil that tore easily, but otherwise, it was a pretty good first draft. I only had to divide it into 16ths, which is great.
Anyway, I have two mediocre pictures of it.

Hopefully, I will get better pictures soon.
And, here's a link to find more about this unnamed species of snail-

I'll make sure they're up tonight. Again, my computer is incapable of updating websites, so I have to send it to another computer.
