Great to see the majority are new/unpublished models (at least I don't have them)! I'm really happy to support new books and those who take the time to diagram their work. I've pre-ordered. Thanks QT!

well, gallery origami house's next publication will be a collection of the works of yoo tae yong, who is probably best known at this point for his models in origami pro, many of which are here.

brian chan's book is looking more and more to be going in the direction of takashi hoyjo's. though at this point, i wouldn't mind if the next book were origami fantasy 2 by kaede nakamura.

lol. i don't think there are any hojyo or chan "rumors." i think their books are pretty "real," just not anywhere close to publication. OTOH, while it's believable that another SK book is in the works, since his books are mostly anthologies, and he has enough now that wasn't in woSK2.

It looks like Works of Satoshi Kamiya 3 is now 100% confirmed. It's listed Through OUSA since they just announced he's a convention guest this year. As well as on the JOAS website under their monthly meeting page. It sounds like a 2019 release to so that's gonna be cool!

ah, good to see. if nothing else, it does imply that the OUSA collection will have an SK model in it. i do confess, it annoys me how much material is recycled. i mean, will the styracosaurus make it? if so, it should at least be v2.2. i admit to getting the books anyway, the production values are so good, but still... i would also take the 2019 publication date with a grain of salt.

I haven't seen a model list yet, but in all honesty it really doesn't matter, I'm sure it will be great

I'm a little disappointed that the front cover model is his horse. If the title model is his horse, which has already been diagrammed, what does that say about the rest of the models?

But on the bright side, it's being released a lot sooner than we thought, and at 232 pages, it's a good size book. (And only 15 models too! I do like my pages per model to be quite high). Can't wait to see the model list.

I’m just happy someone is doing something. Losing hope for Hojyo and Chan.

I visited Origami House this afternoon and briefly spoke with Kamiya San in my best Japanese. Last time we spoke I didn’t speak any. 1.5 years of classes paid off I guess. About the new book he said they are still preparing so didn’t want to disclose anything. But on my question: トラはありますか? He said: はい!

Well, thanks for seeing if you could learn anything more about the book.
