catching on fire is bad :) I didn't mean that, I meant worrying about it's safety for food reasons, etc.
I put the few pieces I have done this way under some bright full-spectrum lamps I have, which kick out an amazing amount of infrared heat. they dry it pretty quickly and even enough for my amateur purposes.
I'm not in a high-humidity environment, so I don't think I have the same problems you have, though...
