Edwin Corrie Books

I am really fascinated by Edwin Corrie's Models, simple but so pretty! I would like to buy his books, even second hand is ok, I am not able to find it in India. Any advice where I can buy the book?

There are three booklets by Edwin Corrie available from BOS:

I'm not aware that he published any books, though.

Hi Daydreamer,

How secure is the online transaction? I have never purchased anything from the British Origami Society before. If the transaction is secure I will buy it online or I might request a book shop to order it.

Hi there,

The first link that thedeadsmellbad gave is actually a VERY old and therefore very out of date version of the ODB that is still lying around on the web.

As for ordering from the BOS, if you feel unsure about online transactions, you can send your order with a cheque to the BOS supplies officer using the details on the supplies page.

He hasn't had any commercial books devoted to his work, but I've included a Corrie design in two recent books and Paulo Mulatinho has also published him in Pfiffiges Origami.

He's a top class designer and has real character in his work.

It is fully secure - you can find details by clicking on the padlock in the corner of the window. The secure stage doesn't kick in until you've actually chosen something though...

Hey Nick, I did place an order and day before yesterday they sent me an email stating that they have posted the three books via air mail, I just am waiting till it reaches my House!!!

Accurate nonetheless, yes? The feature I like is being able to link directly to the search results.

You can also do this in the Origami Database, by opening the printable version in a new window (or tab), so that you get the link. For example a search on Edwin gives the following results: http://d307280.p33.patchhost.com/search ... ator=Edwin

There is also the posibility to link directly to your search results by removing the other frames (right mouse tab -> show only this frame), like this:

Hi guys just posted a message on the General forum, but thought I would put one here to.

Edwin has generously (as he always does) allowed to have a couple of his diagrams published to this forum, The Koala I taught at the convention is in the convention pack so that is not here- go buy the CD!!
but here is my favourite dragon from a fish base

This is not a low res image and so i have just put it as a link to the image itself, download print and fold then like our friend in India buy all his books to encourage him to do more- and come to more conventions, I am sure he owes me a drink;-)
Just took a photo of one i was playing with at Leicester-it is a bit like music, you need to put your own twiddley bits in, use thickish single colour paper, A square from A3 makes a good parent, then the bit left makes nice baby sized ones.

His books sold out again at the convention- they are currently in their 2nd print run.
Another of his koala models is in the origami animals book by R Lang.
