Need help with diagramming

Post by OrigamiGeek »

I am atempting to diagram one of my designs.

I started off fine using inkscape. The first twelve or so steps are just precreasing, but then when i start to make the collapseing setps all of the creases get disalligned and I end up with a mess. hear is a photo of what is happening https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-c6bq ... 2Bhelp.png [sorry the photo is too big but you can click on the link to see it]. I have tryied many things but can't seem to come up with the solution. I tried groupeing everything but it doesn't seem to work, maby there are too many creases or some thing. please help me!

I am sorry in advance if there is a topic already on this, in some quick serches I could not find one.

Thanks for your time every one!

ps. in school the funnyest theing happened... my friend asked "can you make a paper crain", so I start folding a double crain (a crain on top of a crain, I don't know what it is called). once I finished I handed it to him, he looks at it for a minut then gives it back to me and says "cool! but it is a bit crumpled on top?"
