I'm looking for models that have very creative names. For example -sebl-'s Climb Peaks depicts a frog on a leaf. What other models do you know with names just as creative?

Thanks guys ;).

There are quite a few pieces with interesting names. As part of the team for the OrigamiUSA Origami Collection, we sometimes get material with trademarked names. We have to come up with something that avoids that issue. For my own pieces, I have something called "Prehistoric Car." It looks like something that Fred and Wilma might drive. For my Erotic Origami book, I had lots of fun with the titles. A couple of them were based on existing phrases. One came from one of Bob Neale's works, and the other was from a David Mamet play. I also have something called En route to the Observatory. This is certainly easier to say than "King King climbing the Empire State Building." There is a new version of that piece called "Catching a Plane." Yes, there is a biplane involved in the composition. A few other fun names include "Tee Time" (a golfer), The Original Beatle (a bug playing guitar), and Spectacles Bear (looks like he came out of a Pepsi commercial). - Marc

Jeremy Shafer always has the most creative names for his models. Unfortunate bungee jumper is probably my favorite of his model names. Always funny to see what he comes up with!

Melina Hermsen also tries to name her models not just for what they are.
