I always use Inkscape for my diagrams. Since the book comes out as a pdf, it's probably best to save it that way.

Alright, I've submitted my diagram Thank you for the help. :D

Origamibook AT gmail DOT com

Is it "Origamibook" or "origami book" ?
I send my diagrams to "Origamibook".

Actually it doesn't matter. As far as I know, all e-mail programs nowadays don't differentiate between upper and lower case letters, but you have to write it together, spaces are an issue. So if you write Origamibook or origamibook or maybe origamiBooK is completely up to you. Someone told me that dots are also possible, so origami.book would also be an option.

Too bad. I only got one page of handwritten diagrams, but I quit. Would have turned out to be 100 plus step model.

It's a long story, but I seem to have lost the CP I had drawn for this book. Barring a (Christmas?) miracle, I don't think I'll be able to submit anything this year.

On the plus side, I just finished drawing the CP for a new design which I haven't folded nicely yet.

@roodborst: Sorry to hear. But Maybe you could draw up a CP?

@Baltorigamist: That's unfortunate, but maybe you can fold the new model and submit the CP for it?

I actually just posted the CP for the new design before you posted that. So yeah.
Sorry.

Yay, I'm done! Check your Mailboxes guys.

For the record:
52 Authors sent in 76 Models (16 CPs and 8 Photodiagrams). The book is 249 pages long and 17MB in size.

Thanks to everyone who participated, most models are really awesome and you put a lot of work into diagramming them.

I wish everyone a happy new year!

A quick note. I will replace the file with a bigger one (about 43 MB) shortly, because some files got way worse during compression than I realized. So the file will be bigger but better quality. At the moment I'm waiting for png files for the diagrams that suffered the most from compressing. The author contacted me and offered to send them, so they should be here soon. I hope that I can convert them in a way to get a better quality.

I am not a participant, just a kibitzer - Thank you very much for continuing to do this Anna!

Note: You might consider (again) breaking up the file into <25MB pieces OR multiple 10MB pieces, just in case someone needs the accommodation for lower bandwidth or email size restriction.

Well, if anyone really has problems because of the size, we can find a solution. Most participants seem to be fine with what I do, at least they don't complain.

By the way, the new file (about 40 MB) is now available.

Thanks once again Anna for another year of hard work!

I Look forward to trying out some of the models!

Another thing. I was thinking of compiling a list with photos for each year of models, that way people can see what each book had to offer. Do you mind if I send them your way?
