I want to know the real differences between oriental and occidental origami design, I mean the "japanese" origami design secrets....

I think that they are not designed with the notion of the tree, instead they use another paradigm

Honestly, I don't see much consistency between either of the regions' models across all the links. The truth is that there are several different methods one can use when designing origami--not all of them have to stem from tree theory.
